Rational functions are quotients of polynomials. In this unit we examine properties of these functions as well as operations involving them. Not surprisingly, almost all actions on rational functions parallel those on fractions. It might be worthwhile to review fractions before undertaking this unit -- especially if you are uncomfortable with fractions.
