Can't find what you need in our library?  If an item is not available at a local library, we will gladly try to borrow it from another library for you.  

Select the Request button in the catalog to ask for an item our library does not have, or click on the link below.

To borrow materials from the Fr. Leonard Alvey Library:

• Library owned materials will be shipped to you if you pay the cost of returning the material to the library. Procedure is as follows:
• Contact the interlibrary loan department by phone at 270-686-4214 or by email at illoan@brescia.edu for books. 
• Overdue fines and lost book billing will be charged to student for materials not returned by the due date. The postmark will be used to determine the due date. You will be billed for failure to return items in good condition.

All members of the Brescia Community must have a current Brescia ID to check out materials.

Brescia faculty and students also have reciprocal borrowing privileges at Kentucky Wesleyan College and Owensboro Community & Technical College and must show a current ID to borrow at these institutions. All full-time Brescia students may also check out materials at the Daviess County Public Library with proof of full-time enrollment at Brescia.

In addition, all current Brescia patrons may borrow from libraries of FoKAL institutions.

Brescia alumni must present their alumni card to borrow materials from Brescia library. Brescia alumni may obtain an alumni card from the Brescia Alumni Office.

Owensboro/Daviess County community members may purchase a library card for a fee of $100.00 per year.
